Netgear Router Username and Password Setup/Change

Step 1 Open a web browser From a computer or mobile device linked to your router's network. Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari, Microsoft Internet Explorer, and Edge are some common online browsers. In the URL box of your web browser.

Note: The default IP address of your router (192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1) is also an option. Enter the key or select Search.

You could get a warning from your browser if the connection is insecure. Check that the web URL you typed is accurate before going to the router login screen.

Step 2 Insert your password and username within the router's login box.

Step 7 The "Wireless Setup" display will be returned to you after the adjustments have been made, and you can now "Logout" from there. You can now access your WiFi network using the SSID and Passphrase.

Step 8 You will need to log back onto the WiFi if you perform these modifications while connected to it via WiFi, or else you will be disconnected from it.
