How to reconnect my NETGEAR WiFi range extender to my home network is covered in this post. Prior to connecting to your router, the extender needed to have a working IP address.
Step- 1 Utilise an Ethernet wire to link your range extender to your PC.
Step- 2 You should start your computer's web browser.
Step- 3 Fill out the address bar of your web browser with http://mywifiext.net.
Step- 4 Enter the key or select Search.
Step- 5 The sign-in page appears.
Step- 6 You should enter the username and password you chose at setup.
Note: The default username or password are respectively admin or password. Both the username as well as the password must match exactly.
Step-7 To change your Netgear range extender password click the Username & Password Help page.
Step-8 Press LOG IN.
Step-9 Choose Wireless Settings under Setup.
Step-10 Ensure that the Password (Network Key) entry below Security Options contains the router's password.
Step-11 If the password for your router doesn't really match, update it.
Step-12 Tap Apply.
Step-13 To the extender, re-connect your Wi-Fi-enabled devices.
Step- 1 Press and hold the Factory Settings button here on the side panel for 7 seconds.
Step- 2 Resetting your range extender.
Step- 3 Join NETGEAR EXT, the extender's default WiFi network, by accessing the WiFi menu of your mobile device or computer.
Step- 4 On the linked device, open a web browser.
Step- 5 Fill out the address bar of your web browser with http://mywifiext.net.
Step- 6 Enter the key or select Search.
Step- 7 The sign-in page appears.
Step-8 I can't access www.mywifiext.net; what do I do? has troubleshooting information.
Step-9 Specify your login information.
Note: The default password and username are admin and password, accordingly. The username and password should absolutely correspond.
Step-10 Press login.
Step-11 To link your extender to your home network, follow the on-screen instructions.
Note: When prompted, enter the network name (SSID) and password for your router's WEP security.
Step-12 To the extender, re-connect your Wi-Fi-enabled devices.
