How to Disable SIP ALG on a Netgear Router?

How To Disable SIP ALG On The Netgear Web Browser Configuration Page?

Below are the steps that you need to follow to disable SIP ALG on a Netgear web browser configuration page. 

Step 1: Power on your router and ensure that it is connected to the ethernet port of your PC that you are using as a server. Open any web browser on your PC connected to the server through your Netgear device. 

Step 2: Enter 192.168.0.1 as the default address or enter any other address, which you have assigned to the server. Enter admin in the username section as the default username and enter the password in the password section. Once you are done with that, then press the enter key. 

Step 3: Wait for the menu page to open up and then select "WAN Setup" by going to the Advanced sub-menu. 

Step  4: Check the disable SLP ALG box by going to the "WAN Setup" menu. Select the apply button at the bottom left of the box and save the changes.
