Step 2: After that, search for the Reset button on your Netgear extender and press the reset button using a pin-like device. 

Step 3: Once the reset process is over, your device will restart again. 

Step 4: Then, you need to connect your device to the existing router using an ethernet cable. 

Step 5: When you are done, launch your internet browser and then enter mywifi.net in the location bar of your browser. 

Step 6: Press the enter key and then you will be taken to the Netgear router login page. 

Step 7: Enter your credentials and then click on Log in. 

Step 8: Once this step is over, you will be taken to the Netgear Gene setup wizard

Then, a few prompts will appear on your screen. You need to carry out all these prompts in order to reconfigure your router.
