How To Link Netgear Orbi Router With iOS Device?

Step 1: First of all, you need to disconnect your modem from the electrical outlet just by removing the power adapter and turning off the switch. 

Step 2: Now, take an ethernet cable and use it to connect your router and modem. You will see the cable inside of the box. 

Step 3: Now take the power adapter and connect it to your Orbi router and electrical outlet. Now, turn on your router. 

Step 4: Now, check whether the green light is flashing on your router or not. Now, power on your modem and wait for the lights to turn on.  

Step 5: Go to the app and then select the networking icon from your app and then select the Orbi router. Launch your internet browser and then enter the IP address of your router that is stated at the back of your hardware. 

Step 6: The login page will open up before you where you will be asked to enter your username and password. You need to check the default username and password again. If you find that the login credentials are not working, then you may have to restore them back to the factory default settings. 

Step 7: Go to the Wireless tab and then choose the Security option. From there, you are required to choose the WPA option. This security type is recommended as it has an encrypted format and no one can connect to the network without the password. 

Step 8: Enter the name of your network in the mentioned field. 

Step 9: Now, enter the password. You are required to enter the password twice. 

Step 10: Select Apply. You can also enter the details of your router n a computer drive. 

Step 11:  Navigate to the iOS device settings and select Wi-Fi. 

Step 12: Now, search for the name of your network from the list of networks and select it. 

Step 13: Enter the password. 

Step 14: After that, a successfully connected message will be displayed on your screen. 

Step 15: Start using the internet from your device. 

Step 16: In case you are experiencing issues in your iPhone not connecting to orbi to the internet, then that means the signal strength is poor or your router is kept away from the device. To fix this problem, you must move your device close to the router.
